Revivalhouse Records & Film
Handcrafted, artist-owned.
Welcome to Revival — a boutique studio and film house run by Boston-area writer/producer Pat Hanlin, specializing in immersive production and cinematic filmmaking for artists, bands, and brands!
Pat’s worked film projects for the likes of the Barak Obama Foundation, NPR, House of Blues charitable Foundation, and the NBA and MLB. He’s got a knack for live performance, short form/social-media content, cinema-style documentary and interviews, event shooting, and cut/color. Revival also features a pro team of cinematographers, light designers, and cam ops for larger-scale projects! Regardless of form-factor you can bet your booty that Pat’s going to cut up something splashy, cinematic, and super special :)
Our recording spaces in Boston and the North Shore with sufficiently fancy outboard gear, world-class instruments, and mics that cost more than most used sedans. As a Vic Firth-endorsed drummer and multi-instrumentalist for a number of Grammy-nominated and multiplatinum-selling artists, Pat can level-up your tracks with drums, bass, guitar, piano, b3 organ, and his mighty collection of nerdy analog synths! Revival also owns a deep proverbial Rolodex of recording partners, including musicians and mixologists from groups like Zac Brown Band, Lucius, Doja Cat, and Pat Metheny.
One thing that makes this company unique is how we blend recording and film. Shooting in-studio performances, interviews, and b-roll during the recording process can lead to great film content for a release! Footage can be made into live performance cuts, lyric videos and visualizers, artist shorts, and BTS music videos!
Be sure to check out our recording and film portfolios, and get in touch about a project or if you’re curious about anything. If it’s a good fit we guarantee we’ll attack your next creative project like a honey badger fighting for food!
Thanks for stopping by, Patrick, Revivalhouse Records
