Patrick Hanlin is a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist living and working out of Boston, Mass.
Pat’s toured internationally as a Vic Firth-endorsed drummer and multi-instrumentalist, both with his band Dead Messengers and for artists like Billy Gilman (2nd Place on 2016’s The Voice) and Lenny Lashley (Darkbuster). Pat's played many nifty shows like SXSW, Mile High Stadium, Wolftrap Theatre, The Gorge Ampitheatre, Dunkin Donuts Arena, Austin City Limits and opened for bands like Dropkick Murpheys, The Roots, Dillinger Escape Plan, Dave Matthews, Hall & Oates, Frank Turner, and Jack Johnson.
As a composer and producer, Pat's worked with incredible organizations like Barack Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper, the NBA and MLB, Northeastern U, and the Life is Good Company and won awards like the International Songwriting Competition, American Songwriting Awards and an impressive three Grand Prize wins in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Dozens of his recordings have charted on Sirius XM.
You may or may not find Pat listening to Bob Dylan, Tame Impala, Chance the Rapper, Every Time I Die, Daphne et Chloe, Tom Waits (mostly the old stuff these days), STP, and Aretha Franklin all in the same day. He blames it on his ADHD.
